Leslie Cross is the nom de plume of our featured author who deal with controversial subjects relating to science, philosophy and religion.
Leslie states in the “about” section “I have done many things in my life, from government engineering to university faculty positions at a very large university and so carry lots of titles, Adj. Professor, engineer, entrepreneur, conservationist, parent, teacher, and friend. . . The most common thing I repeatedly hear is, ‘Where did you get your degree in _______?’ You can guess the field to fill in; however, the blank field has included a broad variety of fields as diverse as several fields of medicine, engineering, theology, and geology, and mostly asked by professionals in the field they are asking about. Correlated to that is the statement, ‘you missed your calling, you should have studied __________’ and there, fill in the professor’s field of study. This comes from high I.Q. . .The other thing said periodically is ‘you are the smartest person I have ever met.’ Now that is a high compliment seeing this has come from several people I admire for their own intelligence.
“High I.Q. specifically means you have the ability to process new information and come to correct conclusions more frequently than others. If you place ten median I.Q. people in a room and ask their opinion about something, you will get ten opinions, however, if you put ten geniuses in a room, you will get at least twenty opinions. However, if you ask them to come to a rational conclusion about a new set of data, they are likely to come to the correct conclusion.”
Unlike what seems to be the rest of the world, Leslie does not want to be famous. While entertaining a blog site, Leslie will not reveal him/herself to the general public and will not allow the publisher to forward messages either.
